Snow flurries started during our class Christmas parties today...total mayhem. It's a classic blustery night here with the wind shaking our windows and knocking power out in half of the neighborhood. Ellen made this gingerbread house last weekend (kit from Ikea) and I told her to dust it with a little powdered sugar to look like snow. She is a winter baby and will always love the snow...lots and lots of snow. Even if it's powdered sugar.
Sweet ... in every sense of the word.

Ellen's gingerbread house is beautiful! Loved hearing about the mayhem---what grade do you teach?

My homeroom is 8th grade and I teach 6th, 7th, and 8th. Never a dull moment.
