I thought I had found everything hidden in my house...original floor plans, wire baskets, wooden rulers, enamelware buckets, etched mirrors. This real estate sign must have been hidden pretty well but we found it during the garage conversion. It's huge. It's cool. It has an old-school phone number.
I know this is "Evergreen 5" (385). I remember the house I grew up in was "Sherwood 1". Remember yours?
I didn't have one of those phone numbers (but I remember the one I did have well!) That is an awesome sign!

Regent 4! And my grandmother's was Lyric 7! Her town upstate was so small, you only had to dial the last four numbers of the person you were trying to call. Everyone had the same exchange!
Cool sign!

Mine was Wyman 4. My aunt's was Olympia 6. I guess we are telling our age by the fact that we remember these.

...yep, blast from the past. My phone number growing up was "Crestwood 4-0319" which was 274-0319. It will be forever in my memory bank! Thanks for sharing!
