The Sunday after Thanksgiving is always set on my calendar...an afternoon with my friends from college. I set the table with all the red and green I had handy and remembered to take a picture.
It's easy to see why we all became friends at school. We are all the responsible girls...the rule followers, the list makers. How else is anything every going to get done?
As I'm writing this post, I'm making my list...my crafty list for December:
- figure eight velveteen scarf kits that should arrive at my door soon
- an idea for a chain-stitch scarf (inspired by this wreath from last year)
- sewing a few of these grocery bags
Anything else I need to add?
That photo could be on the cover of a magazine. I think your list is good - do-able but not out of control.

I was hoping 'pack vintage Christmas napkins to ship to Amy' was on your list but they look so perfect in the photo I suppose you should keep them. :-) I do agree with Barbara - that looks like a magazine cover to me too. Happy Holidays!

A bubble bath?

I have those very same napkins and the table cloth to match. I keep trying to convince myself that the table cloth would look great as a apron but I just can't bring myself to cut it. I bought it along with a boxful of other vintages linens at a local 'antiques and junk' sale that covers over 4 square acres for a VERY nice price.
I also wanted to tell you have I love red and green together when it's not 'Christmas" things. There is something so real when it's collections of everyday sort of things. Love your photo and love the idea of doing Christmas was red and green that's not meant to be "Christmas".
In case I don't respond to another post this year.... Wishing you and yours all the best for the coming New Year.
