I sewed this. Those readers that have been with me a while know this is a big deal for me...to say I was an anxious sewist is an understatement. My strawberry apron came together not because of my sewing skills but because of my love of finding vintage things and putting them together. It works with glue and paper...and with fabric and stitching.
I am so happy I took the leap and sent the apron to Apron-ology. The apron is a pretty one made even prettier in the photos. And...when you turn the page there's another apron that I sewed. I know...it's crazy. I'll be back with details on that one next week and have a copy of Apron-ology to give away (because I couldn't wait for my mailman to get around to delivering it...which he finally did on the day I went to the bookstore and bought one).
I LOVE it! I love the layering and the strawberries really appeal to me, especially the brooch on the waistband. So pretty! Congratulations!

So cute! Now I know what to do with a cute little vintage strawberry printed napkin I just thrifted. Congratulations on being published in Apronology.

BEAUTIFUL! What a nice apron! I knew you would be as good at stitch craft as you are with paper craft! :)
Can't wait to see the book.
