It's been a good six months since I've been to a scrapbook store. Long enough that there was plenty of new stuff. I'm a bit of a cranky old lady with some of it..."Vintage findings? Really?" Anyway.
I found a scrapbook paper that was heavy and cotton-y and stitched with colored thread...really cool. To me, it was a perfect collage base. All I did was add the button card and the pattern image. I'm calling it semi-handmade.
Very pretyy, but then I like everything you do. I understand about being cracky over some of the terms and words people throw about.... as though simply saying a thing makes it so.
Did your PBS televise "Northanger Abbey" this past Sunday. Ours did and I throughly enjoyed it.

Forgive me, I can't spell or type even when I try.

I was inspired by your use of vintage patterns for a collage I made for my pink color challenge. Thanks for such great inspiration! Don't you just love vintage patterns?

I know what you mean about labelling: what is 'new vintage'?
Remaking old stuff maybe but newly manufactured in China-no way! I always love your collages and this is another goody!

In case you checked my post referring to vintage patterns and couldn't find your blog listed, I'm sorry I made a typing error, but it IS corrected now so the credit goes to you:)

Nothing wrong with easy. I'm with you on the faux vintage. (The Abercrombie "authentic vintage" labels on my daughter's clothes drive me to distraction.)

Don't call it that...people will say you're the Sandra Lee of craft.
:)
I agree with Dianne...it was your idea. Very cute.

ahh . . . the love/disgust relationship with the scrapbook store. :) I know some of those feelings well. :) Kelly
