As promised (what was I thinking!), here is my newly painted furniture...
I hope not everyone is thinking..."that's it?" I never thought the weather would play such a factor in my project...it's still raining here and impossible to get a really good picture.
I'm happy with it...I just love the shape of this dresser...look at the cool little feet. More pics...
I really admire those crafty girls that can also teach...I'm still not one of those. Would you like to see a tutorial from me where I:
No, believe me, you wouldn't. So anyway...I am happy I tried this blog experiment. The furniture really fits it's purpose in our little "retro" family room (that last pic is to give you an idea of the other furniture and stuff in the room)...and I told my husband that the dresser would look great with a nice new flat screen TV...so he's working on that. And all of this fun started with $18.18 at the thrift store...
I love it! You modernized it just perfectly. Looks very useful as well. KUDOS!!!

What a find! That looks great. I do this for a living ... I wish I could find bargains like that all of the time. I'd be a happy camper. Got any thrifting mojo you can pass on? Congratulations on completion of a project! Cheers to a lovely big screen TV soon to roost on your success.
