My house has changed a little since my mother-in-law joined us. All of the "undecided" furniture ended up in my dining room for a while and two of the side tables found their way into our rooms. I've never been very good at fitting tables into my living spaces and I think now it was because I only like round tables. The round table above holds a big vintage tray and some milk glass.
The other one is in the computer room next to my newly slipcovered "homework" chair. I should have been mortified to bring this chair to be slipcovered...it was a dirtry, worn, dog-chewed mess. But that's what slipcovers are for, right? I bought the fabric online (JoAnn; Waverly Twill in Polar) and took everything to Kari DeRoberto (Kari's Covers if you are local (St. Louis)). A color called "Polar" is probably not the best idea in my house but I love it. Penny likes it too.
