Logic can't be applied to some decisions. Like bringing a new dog home. But we do it anyway.
Penny came home with me after a somewhat random stop at the Humane Society last week. We've been talking about getting a "little dog" and she fits the bill at three whole pounds. The picture is a crazy blur taken with the MacBook within minutes of the kids meeting her.
Her cuteness cannot be put into words...letters maybe...like ooxxooXoXXx.

After I read this post, I clicked on the picture of the dogwood tree. Wow, the previous owner of your house married for the first time at eighty? This proves that a new beginning can start at any time of your life. What a romantic story. Enjoy your new beginning with your puppy.

Congrats!! She is adorable.
Its perfectly logically by the way - those 3 pounds will bring you years of love and enjoyment (and poop and fur on your clothes, but ignore that part).

Yay for you! Our Humane Society is at overflowing capacity right now with all the pets given up by people who can no longer afford them. Heartbreaking. Our last 2 pets came from there. Your little puppers is adorable. I can't wait to see more.
