I bought this vintage Disney album at the thrift store this spring because it was $0.25 and cute...and we were headed to Disney World. The last time we were there, my daughter was only 3 and we avoided the whole "fantasy land" area. This year, however, we took a ride through the Small World. I was very surprised by it and found it to be really, really cute in a simple-graphic-image-sort-of-way...no kidding.
I cut the front from the album cover and glued it to a 12x12 canvas but you could easily just use the entire album because it is sturdy enough on its own. I finished the back with a 12x12 scrapbook paper, added two large eyelets, gave it a good sanding around the edges, and threaded the eyelets with two ribbons...and its ready to hang. Really simple, I know, but unique artwork for a kids room I think.
