tiny dresses
I've been wanting to get back to some small-scale projects and to use my favorite stamps to make some cards. My injury on Mother's Day gave me a chance to do it...I sat and cut lots of tiny dresses. I have a stamp with a row of four dresses so I just stamped (in brown ink) on some paper scraps and then cut out all of the dresses. I stamped the image again on a scalloped note flat and added one of the paper dresses to each.
I also made a few note card sets using another favorite stamp (the one that started the whole sewing pattern idea).
So now I have a few things to add to the empty "handstamped notes" section of my etsy shop.
My house is a complete mess but I'm using the broken toe excuse...and making pretty stuff is so much more fun.

Oh, these are really fabulous!

OMG!! These are so cute!!
They would look cute if you stamped the dress on actual fabric and glued it on to the image of the woman.
What a cute stamp!!

Those notecards are adorable! Love your stuff! I am the Rochelle who bought your altered turquoise train case from you. I was at my parent's in Oregon this past weekend and was able to pick it up there - it is a great case and will go in my craft/sewing room perfectly. It will be another storage area for some of my scrapbooking items. Thanks a bunch!

those are too cute! who knew what luck a broken toe would bring?

Wow, they're great! But something tells me a broken toe wouldnt induce that kind of talent with me. I'd sit and eat and watch marathons of Andy Griffith. It's just not the same.

The toe can't be fun, but I think making those little dresses must have been. Those came out just great.

If you break a toe every other month or so, well, you could spend SO much more quality time with your art and SO much less with housework. I think I'm going to try this.

Those are the cutest stamps I've ever seen! The little dresses on printed paper are adorable! I'm curious, where did you find the stamps at??

I LOVE the dresses stamped on patterned paper - what a great idea. I have that same stamp set and it is one of my favorites.
