pretty jewelry
The city just north of us had a city-wide garage sale last weekend. The woman selling the costume jewelry said $5 for the whole box. I don't know why (umm...I'm an idiot?) but I never go that route and always prefer to hand-pick whatever I want out of the box. I bought these to add a little sparkle to my train case projects.
I also found a pretty milk glass compote (and a real vintage jadite bowl!). I wish I saved the stickers from the milk glass...it was marked $4, crossed off with $2, and finally a new sticker with $0.25...and it was only like 10:30 a.m...everything was probably marked free by noon.

Wow that is a pretty picture. Before I read about it I thought bravo all glued together!

Oh man, I considered going there for those sales, but then decided it probably wasn't worth the drive.
Find anything else good?

Oh that piece is gorgeous! I think you did a fabulous job on the photo! It looks very professional - just as it should be. Bravo! P.S. I like to hand-pick as well. I want to know what I am getting! xo Sher

Yay! Jadeite! Haven't seen a single piece this year, but it's early. Your jewelry is so pretty. Great photo, but I think all of your photos look great.

I am not collecting milk glass but there are some nice bits at my thrift haven... let me know if you need a candy dish with scrolly trim and I will see if it is still there next Tuesday!
