soft chocolate chip cookies

Dscf0263_edited1Trying once again to take a picture of food.  But it's probably impossible to make chocolate chip cookie dough look bad. These are my new favorite cookie...soft chocolate chip cookies.  They are made with a touch of sour cream and they are like little chocolate chip cakes (loaded with both semisweet and milk chocolate).  The recipe is from Martha Stewart Living and you can find it here.  Try them this weekend...you probably have all of the ingredients.

I hosted book club and a Pampered Chef party this week so I made lots of these cookies.  The Pampered Chef party was to partly benefit our upcoming school auction. I've never hosted a show before and am now "kind of" thinking about buying the Stainless Cookware Set.  Is this crazy?  Does anybody have any experience with the cookware?  Pros/Cons?

those cookies sound GREAT,
i'm on my way to get the recipe now!

Oh, man, I was already thinking about making some cookies - now I REALLY want to! My waistline does not thank you.

New pots and pans hu???... My set of VERY good pots and pans ( but not P.C.) lasted longer than my first marriage, in fact I am still using them 22 years later! So if they are quality I can't see that you would be going wrong. Mine are all metal ( not non-stick..that stuff worries me) with insulated handles..I did not want any plastic or such since I wanted to be able to pop things in the over for a broil finish if needed. I have really liked everything I have gotten from P.C. and I swear by their batter bowls with the lids ..so if you like it I say go for it. ( obviously I am NOT the one to take shopping with you if you are wanting to save money :)

Mmmmmm...you can't go wrong with chocolate chip cookies. I've never made them with sour cream in the recipe, though.

Kimberly :)

Hi Julie! Yummm on the cookies!! I hosted a Pampered Chef party once and got some of the coated cookware (free...yay!). I really loved the family skillet and used it everyday for years! I love everything else I've gotten from them...and I think they have a lifetime guarantee on the pots and pans! xoxo...jenn

Hi Julie, I just watched your vodcast, what a sweetheart you are! What a talented lady! Great job, you should be very proud!

OH! OH! Julie, you can't even believe.... I made CC cookies last week (the tollhouse recipe), and was so very disappointed. They were really yummy freshly baked, but got hard by the next day. I soooo love soft cookies! I have been "hunting" for a really yummy soft cc cookie recipe for years... I will so try this one. Thank you sooooo much for sharing!
I haven't owned PC pots & pans, didn't even knew they had stainless ones! I had known peeps happy with the non stick ones years ago...if that's any help. :P
Love your button pics, too! ;)
Hugs,
Shannon
