disney world
We are all off to the happiest place on earth. Traveling the old school way...all of us in the 1997 minivan getting on each others last nerve. But isn't that sometimes the fun part?
I never look at the record section at my thrift store but this one caught my eye on half-off-day last month. The old record covers are a fun size, sometimes have fun graphics...I'll think of something to do with it.
I'll be using the automated posting feature and have scheduled a couple of posts to keep things interesting around here while I'm away.

Have fun!!!

Wheeee! Hope your trip to the Happiest Place is wonderful! (How could it not be?). I get to go to Disneyland one month from now, so i can understand your excitement! Great record album cover, by the way!

The exact same thing happened to me at my thrift store a few years back. I couldn't resist that small world cuteness. And I just pulled it out the other day wondering what I could do with it after seeing some of the things you have been doing with little golden books. What a coincidence!

Oh man, have some fun in the sun for me. (And maybe eat some meatballs at IKEA for us too!)

Julie - think about this - those album covers are the same size as scrapbook papers. I am looking for some of my Mom's old favorites to copy and use as backgrounds and such do put a journal together for her.

ahhhh . . . the crafter/decorator in me loves the cover but the elementary music teacher in me wants the record! what lovely little folk songs must be on there! I occasionally play a record for my students and most of them have never seen one and they are amazed that you can turn them over! Have a wonderful time! Kelly

Oh my goodness. I had that same album as a kid and I loved the song and ride when I went to DisneyLand as a child.
