all's fine

There have been lots of life lessons learned here this week...and one of them is to not post to your blog in the middle of a wtf?! moment (insert an oopsie face here).  So sorry for the bit of drama yesterday.  Like a small child, I threw my fit, went to the thrift store for some retail therapy, and got over it instantly.  Thanks for the nice comments yesterday...sigh.

So, I'm going to put my train case in my etsy shop tonight at about 9:00 pm (central time).  The price will be  $125 but the shipping is on me (I'll refund your shipping)...and I'll mail it tomorrow to get it to you before Christmas.

Tomorrow, I'm going to "access my non-crazy side" and get back to some fun holiday posts (including a tiny little giveaway with the apronista).

Don't feel bad... I had my "fit" moment on Sunday when a project went down in flames! So you are definitely not the only one. ;)

Hope you found some good finds while thrifting!! I have decided I'm a compulsive thrifter; I go every week to my favorite stores and they're starting to get to know me! Eeep! lol.

Have a lovely Thursday!

Be at peace my friend, I too can relate.

hahaha...etsy's *goin' down* at 9:01 central time! ;)

I'm sorry for the fate of your train case. It's so lovely. I have a flu and have been watching Doris Day comedies, and somehow they reminded me of the train case... Dear old Doris must have had some of the costumes from your pattern pictures. Anyway, your blog always cheers me up so much when I'm sick and feel miserable.

Ah... thrift therapy... some of the best kind. I hope to sneak some in but the fates are not looking kindly on me these days so we shall see!

Maddie

so glad you feel better after a bit of retail therapy.

I think your train case is just beautiful - it will sell very quickly I am sure.

Have a fun week.

I'm glad things are working out.

I just read your last post and completely understand your disappointment.
You put a lot of time and effort into a "centerpiece" project and it never even made it to the table.
It sounds like your other items were a big hit, though. I wish I could have been there, I could use a fun craft or vintage show about now.
Kimberly :)

Hey, I have a whole CATEGORY of posts called "whining" and another called "raging". It is blogosphere therapy. :) And you weren't anywhere NEAR as tantrum-y as I usually get. I usually re-read my posts and get embarrassed. Ha. But your frustration was so justified.
