old school
...no, seriously, it's an old school. But, what it lacks in fancy new facilities it more than compensates for in other areas. I love the start of new school year...it's all still fresh in my mind and I love to see it in my kids eyes...the nervousness, the masked smiles. I have a 7th, 5th, and 1st grader...and this year I am a new member of the school board.
So, how is summer so long...and so short at the same time?

I know! I am looking forward to the kids going back to school (I have a sophomore in college, a junior in h.s. and a 1st grader!!!) so I can get back to my routines, yet I feel like we haven't had enough summer yet! I can't decide.
Lovely school building! Enjoy your peace and quiet! :-)

I know just what you mean! It was only yesterday I was worrying about how to fill all those long days with fun activities. Now I'm rushing to get all the things done we need to before school starts in two weeks!

Oh...I love that photo. ALL of my kid's school look like that...no fancy glass,no new lines----all old trees and brick...all OLD school. In fact...my mother and I both went to the same school as my children....it even SMELLS the same inside!!!! LOL....
Love your blog. My order IS on it's way for your FANTASTIC cards!!!!!!!

I thought the same thing when my boys went back to school last week. . . our summer together was so long but so short!

What a beautiful old school! We have a shiny new one and I would much prefer the character of an old one. Plus air conditioning. I can't believe how quickly summer passed.

So true! Where has the summer gone? My two start next week and it's a momentous year for them; my son begins high school as my daughter enters her last year.

Congrats on your School Board post! Kudoz to you for getting involved. I would love to do the same at some point...but I have two kindergardeners this year...let's just get through that.
