lists

Img_1260_edited1 Are you a list maker?  I am...but not a very good one.   I make grocery lists and leave them sitting on the counter at home.   Or, I lose the list somewhere in the store.  Or, my kids get me so distracted that I end up leaving with lots of extra stuff but still missing a few key items from my list.

And bringing a list to a craft/paper store?...never works for me because I get completely distracted by all of the pretty paper and other shiny things.

This time of year, with all of the cute notebooks, clipboards, pencils, etc. filling the store shelves, I promise I'll get one really nice notebook and keep everything organized...really.

I made this little list helper with a cute-sized clipboard ... painted it a green/blue combo, created a piece of notebook paper using a cool new punch I have, added a list-making pattern girl, and tied a "to do" tag at the top.

Adorable! I love the little clipboard. Something about notebooks and pads and lists that really floats my boat - the whole neat and tidy perfection of it all. You've captured that perfectly here!

Oh, I love your "To Do" list clipboard--it's wonderful!

oh, my, that is too cute! I am a list maker (inherited from my mother) but am also impulsive & rarely stick to the list (inherited from my father). I'm working on some super-cute notebooks for my etsy shop & will post on my blog when they're available ~ please check in!

Sweet clipboard. I know what you mean about lists. I have great intentions but never seem to follow through. I know it is something that I need to do but just not there yet.

That is too cute!! That would make list making not so much of a chore :) Thanks for sharing!! I love it!

Oooo! Thinking of making more and possibly selling them? Please? Pretty please with sugar on top?

SO cute and tidy!
love your style....but i'm with you....always making lists and depositing them somewhere they will never-ever be seen again!

Great idea the clipboard!

This is too cute! This would also be adorable on the cover of one of those cute little notebooks....you could carry it in your purse and always have your "cool" little notebook handy!

Hi Julie!!
I just got my winning prize in the mail today. Thanks so much!! The print and notecards are beautiful!! Can't wait to use and display them- I'll post a picture on my blog soon.

Linda

So cute! What a great way to help you get organized.

The clipboard is great! It so totally reminds me of my mother, who was the ultimate list freak. She would have loved it, very cute!

With such cuteness, you will never forget anything again!! Just super! :)

so smart and clever....and baker's twine too, yummy!

LOL! Oh yes! I am a list maker, and as you, not a very good one either. I do the very same thing as you... I totally understand where you are coming from!

TOTALLY CUTE clipboard! I love it, and it would work just nicely to add next to my lists upon lists... ;) Maybe it might help! ha!
Thanks for sharing...

How fun! It certainly makes a list seem more appealing when it's attached to something so cute:)

I have a very similar punch! But I haven't made anything quite as cute as that. I think I might just go make some back to school teacher stuff and then make something for myself. Thanks for the inspiration!

Imagining you have received this before, but I nominated you for a thinking blog award... details at www.housewrenstudio.typepad.com

OH I love the punch...where did you find that gem?? I think I will die if I don't go buy myself one:)

What a great clipboard! You couldn't have chosen a more perfect picture for it!
Instead of a notebook for organizing, though, how about a 3-ring binder with page protectors? I use mine to keep track of my fabric and to store take out menus. I also have weekly coupon circulars in there--each one has its own sleeve, with the date. You can put anything you want to get to on a regular basis in there...and even better, you can decorate the binder!

I'm a riduculous list maker. I make a lists of what lists I need to make. I'm not always good about remembering my list either but I find the process of making the list often helps me remember.

P.S. I found a glass pitcher similar to the ones you found today at a garage sale for a quarter!

lists of things you need in a paper/antique/thrift store...good luck
gorgeous clip board..

What a cutie, - and so dead on! Fall is when I try to alter my bad habits. (I just blogged about my 8 parallel notebooks - so very unorganized!).
